Hardy
(CH RW Birmnsrus Hard ActoFollow -
Seal Point)
Hardy crossed the Rainbow Bridge in October 2008, leaving behind many wonderful
kittens and a family who misses him so very much.  Hardy retired after siring several
litters of beautiful and sassy BumbleBe babies, and became our cattery mascot.  His
daughters Dore', Eclaire and Merry have stayed here to carry on his beautiful look
and temperament, and daughters Dancey and son Eon Flux live with my good friend
Charlotte of Starghatts Birmans where they will be the foundation of her lines.
Hardy was an adorable seal point male that came to me after my mentor died in 2006.
I have been so fortunate to have this boy as one of my foundation studs.

Hardy unfortunately blew out a disk in his back a few years ago, and although he
recovered well enough to eventually continue his stud duties, he was left with some
slight residual rear leg weakness, and mild renal issues from the high dose steroids he
received in his treatment.  Then in December 2007 he had to have emergency surgery
for an intestinal obstruction, and ended up with a splenectomy.  All this trauma was
just too much for him, and his renal failure and general condition worsened to the point
where we thought it was kinder to allow him to join his daughter Cissy at the Rainbow
Bridge.  I'm sure he's loving everyone he meets there, greeting them with a great big
purr and a love bite.

I know that he's happier, and I'm so grateful that I could 'borrow' this sweet boy
from God for the past several years.
chase the butterflies - we miss you so much, but
know we'll see you again.

Love, Mama, Daddy and all your 'kids'.
