Merry
BumbleBe Eat Drink & BeMerry - Blue Tortie Point
This is Merry, demonstrating one of her two speeds  . . . asleep.  Her only other gear is 'hell on of
herself.  Merry is just that!
Merry was a wonderful mommy cat, but just did not enjoy being pregnant, and since I can't stand to
see my girls unhappy, was spayed so she didn't have to go through it again.  She has gone to live with
her mom Cory, and daughter Garden Party, with a wonderful couple in Houston.  How cool is that to
place all three  generations together!!!
Here's Merry at almost 8 months old, showing off her gorgeous baby blues (this REALLY is their
color - just like mom Cory!) and her newly dark mask, which has really filled in lately.  She is
SLIGHTLY more sedate . . . and remember this is a relative comparison . . . but is still just full of
herself and tortietude!  No one gets ANYTHING over on this little girl!
Merry at about 11 months old.  Hhhmmmm . . . I don't think my little ani-monster is going to grow up
and settle down any time soon.  We got to the 'photo studio' at the show at the end of the first day of
These pictures were done by Helmi at the "On Safari" show in Longview in early October, showing the
show, after Helmi had shot numerous Bengals, and was showing a little wear and tear around the ages.
Ken made the mistake of saying "Oh good, a Birman, this'll be easy."  Uummm, not so much!  As you
might be able to tell from the 'Merry dancing' series above, Merry LOVES to play with a tease, and
just looses her mind over it.  She was so active, Ken and Helmi compared her to an ABY!!!  She finally
settled down (comparitively!) enough to give us the pretty shots below, but notice the tail action in
both of them . . . it never stopped twitching!  Such a TORTIE!  And such a little love!  Thanks again to
Helmi and Ken - they do superlative work, showcasing the cats and putting their love of all breeds into
their work - I'm proud to have them as friends!
BELOW:  All that hell-raising wears a
girl right out!  Merry taking a nap after
striking terror into toys and treats
throughout the house.  She starts her
show career this month . . . THAT
should be interesting!!!
