Birmnsrus Hugs & Cisses of BumbleBe - My Cissy
|

Cissy was truly my baby girl. Because she was very small, a complication of the URI
she was very sick with at only three weeks old, she stayed with us. She was adorable,
a little blue tortie, sweet as cotton candy, and 5+ pounds of tortietude wrapped up in
cute. She had good markings, marvelous blue eyes, and the type of face I want to
breed in my Birmans - she had sweet stamped all over her. She was just too small to
ever show and/or breed.
We think Cissy had some type of underlying immune dysfunction (even though she
routinely tested negative for FeLV or FIV). None of several vets could figure it out.
She got URI's repeatedly, and we cultured her, washed out her sinuses when it got
too bad, spoon fed her (literally) and tried every antibiotic, supplement, homeopathic
remedy and trick we could think of to help her.
I finally lost her to complications of a URI on June 7, 2006. She would have been
15 months old on the 16th. She was my soul mate kitten. I will never forget her. I
know she's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for me with her big sister Pissy, and all the
others who've loved me so well.
